84 of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Tuesday, August 23, 1927 in Celina, OH, the daughter of John and Ada Taylor Point. who preceded her in death. She married Ralph Kenneth Riegle who is deceased.
She was a charter member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, a 1945 graduate of Central High School, Lima and a 1947 graduate of Lima Memorial School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital for 35 years.
Surviving are daughter, Nancy Riegle (John Purtell) of Lima, two brothers: Harold (Denna) Point of Indianapolis, IN and Dale (Donna) Point of Kenton and three sisters: Jenis Riegle of Sparta, MO, Shirley Vogt of Spencerville and Beverly (Don) Macklin of Spencerville. Also surviving are: a grandson, Shawn David (Christina) Riegle; a great-grandson Austin David Riegle and great-granddaughter Londyn Marie Riegle all of Lakeview: two sister-in-laws: Kate Point and Trudy Riegle of Lima and a brother-in-law, Robert (Linda) Riegle of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
She was predeceded in death by: a son, David Ralph Riegle, a brother, Clayton Point and a sister, Mildred Williams.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Forest Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Park United Methodist Church Building Fund.
