EVELYN "PAT" WOODWARD, 74, died at 8:25 p.m. August 11, 2005, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born April 10, 1931, in Lima, Ohio to Orville and Annabelle Baker Dunahay, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Woodward retired from Northland and Westgate lanes, after several years. She had been a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, playing cards and spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Michael E. Ball and Alex R. (Anita) Ball, both of Lima, Ohio; seven daughters, Evelyn L (Joe) Bowers of Stuart, Florida, Bettie J. (Jim) Foust and Jerrie L. (Ray) Custer, both of Lima, Ohio, Jackquline A. (Hayden) Howard of Alger, Ohio, Denise R. (Rod) Moening of Lima, Ohio, Patricia L. (Dave) Wells of Alma, Nebraska, and Cynthia K. Molzahn of Kenton, Ohio; 37 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Thomas of Elida, Ohio; and a brother, Bill (Donna) Dunahay of Elida, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two sons, David E. and Richard E. Ball; three grandchildren, Tangie Swaney and Angie Swaney and Charlie Busby; and a sister, Dorothy Furry. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Charlotte Hefner will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
