FLOYD A. JONES Jr., 80, died at noon October 5, 2004, at Alpena General Hospital, Alpena, Michigan. He was born January 15, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to Floyd A. and Laura Edwards Jones Sr., who preceded him in death. On April 6, 1946, he married Mary Blosser, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Jones retired as a maintenance engineer from Nickles Bakery, after 43 years. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Leeds, Utah, 585, from 1941 to March 1942. He was a Navy veteran serving from November 10, 1942, to December 19, 1945. Survivors also include a son, Edward (Linda) Jones of Wapakoneta, Ohio; two daughters, Linda (Don) Coburn and Colleen (Randy) Adams, both of Lima, Ohio, a brother, Glen (Judie) Jones of Bellevue, Nebraska; a sister, Dorothy Mae (Don) Bercaw of St. Cloud, Florida; and five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Jones; and a sister, Colleen Jones. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, with military rites by VFW Post 1275. The Rev. Ken Love will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
