Francis William "Frank" Moody
98, died at 5:05 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio.
Francis was born on April 02, 1916, in Richwood, Ohio, to the late Martin Moody and Irene (McClimans) Moody.
On Sunday, April 03, 1938, in Kentucky, he married Helen (Parker) Moody, who preceded him in death. Mr. Moody retired from Teledyne/Ohio Steel after 43 years. He was a member of the Central Christian Church. He held various offices in the church including that of Elder. He was a past member of Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge #54. He and his wife enjoyed many years in Florida during the winter season.
He is survived by: two daughters, Carolyn (Ted) Moser, of Palmyra, VA, and Nancy (Jim) Woodward, of Bellefontaine, OH; a son, David (Tina) Moody, of Lima, OH; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by: two sisters, Christine O'Harra and Marcile Warren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 04, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 05, 2014 at Memorial Park Mausoleum. Rev. Mark Tisch will officiate.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
