Gail Christine was born on October 16, 1952, in London England, to the late Harvey Taggart Basinger and Cecilia (Kacey) Kathleen Onyett [MacQuillan] Basinger.
Gail retired from Honda America, Anna, Ohio. She was a former member of The Episcopalian Church. She loved being outdoors, gardening, and especially her grandchildren. She also loved to dress up and the finer things in life, loved to travel all around the world, and she also was a huge movie fanatic.
She is survived by: a step-mother, Linda Basinger, of Lima, OH; a son, Alex Taggart (Beth) Peters, of Kettering, OH; a daughter, Jennifer Lee (Adam) Williams, of Lima, OH; a sister, Codie Ann Pendleton, of Grove City, OH; a sister, Paula Kathleen Kingery, of Bellbrook, OH; six grandchild, Keeley Christine Peters, Addison LeeAnn Peters, Alexandra Necole Wheeler, Eva June Williams, Tag Williams, Ayden Williams; two loving cousins, Eric, and Katie.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, Bruce Taggert Basinger, and long time companion - Bill Hawkins.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. Wanda Werking officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
