Gary was born on Sunday, June 27, 1948, in Lima, to the late Earl and Virginia (Jones) Conrad. On Saturday, December 12, 1970, he married Beverly Behrendt.
Gary served in the United States Marine Corp from 1966-1976. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country proudly. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved them dearly.
He is survived by a son, James Conrad of Lima; daughters, Brenda Conrad of Lima and Linda Capuchino of Lima; grandchildren, Kristina Conrad, Lily Capuchino and Gavin Capuchino; brothers, Dennis Conrad of Elida, Mark Conrad of Elida and Daryl Conrad of Georgia.
