Gary Craig Ferguson, 51, died July 5, 2010, at his residence. He was born December 10, 1958, in Lima, Ohio to Ronald and Elaine Esmonde Ferguson, who survive, along with his stepmother Cindy Ferguson and stepfather Tom Bowsher. Mr. Ferguson worked at Nickles Bakery and McDonald?s on West Street. He was a 1977 graduate of the Cincinnati School for the Deaf. He attended Seattle Community College. He regularly attended New Hope Christian Center. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and sports fan. Survivors also include a son, Jeremiah David Ferguson, of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Sarah Elaine Ferguson, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sisters, Christine (Kevin) Diercks and Robin (Rudy) Pennington, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three stepbrothers, Tom (Jody) Bowsher, of Mexico, Indiana, Gene (Jennifer) Bowsher, of Lima, Ohio, and Mark Bowsher, of Spencerville, Ohio; a stepsister, Kathy (Mike) Wilson, of Elida, Ohio; and a niece, Chelsea Pennington. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastors Jim and Sheryl Menke will officiate. Burial will be in Cridersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice.
