George T. Howard,
74, of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 3:48 P.M. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born February 20, 1938 in Letcher County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hargis Howard and the late Inez (Feltner) Howard.
George was self employed. He was an all around good guy and would do anything for anybody. On February 15, 1958 he married Amy D. Engle. She survives in Lima, OH.
Surviving are: a son, Ron Howard of Lima, OH, daughters, Jamy (Bob) Nusbaum of Lima, OH, Debra Howard of Lima, OH and Linda (Michael) Dotson Sr. of Lima, OH; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two great grandchildren on the way.
He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Lee Howard Sr.; one great grandchild; a brother, David Shepherd.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.to 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Memorial service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating.
Interment of ashes will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH.
