Georgia "Eloise" Paxton, 93 of Celina, Ohio. She went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Celina Manor in Celina, Ohio.
Born Thursday, August 1, 1918 in Wellston, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert Riley and the late Beatrice Wetzel Riley. She was the wife of the late Floyd Paxton.
She was formerly a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She loved to read. She now has gone home to be with her Lord.
Surviving is a son, Timothy Allen (Debra) Paxton of Portland, OR, three daughters, Judith Ellen (Charles) Kershner of Elida, OH; Pamela A. (Stephen) Parent of Sharpsville, IN; and Susan K. (Bob) McElroy of Lima, OH. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and eight great -great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Todd C. McDorman, sisters, Betty Kinkle and Marge Brubaker, a step brother Richard Zimmerman, and step sister Pauline Bice.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. located at 920 N. Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio 45805. Stephen Parent (son-in-law) will do the reading. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
