Geraldine Herd

GERALDINE R. "JERRY" HERD, 82, died at 8 a.m. July 5, 2006, at Lost Creek Care Center. She was born December 30, 1923, in Pomeroy to Dana and Blanche Davidson Roush, who preceded her in death. She married Paul Herd, who died May 24, 1971. Mrs. Herd was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, Isaac "Ike" (Sheila) Herd and John (Janet) Herd, both of Lima, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Joel Herd and Jamie Herd, both of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Dixon. Burial of the cremains will be later in Indian Creek Christian Cemetery, Lucerne, Indiana. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the donor's choice.
