GERALDINE "GERRI" RAGER HOCH, 82, died at 5 p.m. September 21, 2005, at her residence. She was born November 26, 1922, in Gomer, Ohio to Frederick A. and Bessie Morgan Rager, who preceded her in death. On April 20, 1972, she married Gerald "Jerry" Hoch, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Hoch retired as a secretary from the purchasing department at Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 14 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ford Salaried Retirees Club and was active in the Welsh Society, Gomer. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Survivors also include three stepsons, Gerald F. (Vallery) Hoch II of Strongsville, Lewis B. (Yvonne) Hoch of Columbus, Ohio and Leone E. (Chris) Hoch of Houston, Texas; a sister-in-law, Betty Rager of Gomer, Ohio; six step grandchildren; two nephews, Ben (Karen) Rager and Bruce (Sharon) Rager, both of Lima, Ohio; a niece, Barbara (Larry) Wiech of Lima, Ohio; and several great-nieces and -nephews and several great-great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Rager. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Kent Wilson will officiate.
