Gertrude Flarida

Gertrude Flarida 81, died at midnight December 29, 2007, at her residence. She was born May 26, 1926, in Royalton, Kentucky, to Vinson and Maudie Risner Marshall, who preceded her in death. She was married to Etna ?Hank? Hendrickson in 1955. He died in 1983. In 1990, she married Gail Flarida, who died in 2001. Mrs. Flarida retired from Lima Memorial Hospital in 1986. She was a member of East Elm Street Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, Prentice Hendrickson, of Midway; a brother, Lindle Marshall, of Royalton, Kentucky; two grandsons, Prentice Hendrickson Jr., of Waynesfield, Ohio, and Blake Hendrickson, of Roundup, Mont. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Dee Marshall, Edd Marshall, Everett Marshall, Roy Marshall and Edker Marshall; two sisters, Lucy Fletcher and Blanche Koch. Services begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Wapakoneta, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
