Gladys Treadway

GLADYS I. TREADWAY, 94, died at 7:30 p.m. July 6, 2005, at Plus Health Care. She was born September 16, 1910, in Perry County, Ohio to George and Bertha Mahoney Rushing, who preceded her in death. She was married to Iris W. Treadway, who died February 14, 1966. Mrs. Treadway was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting (Artex), crocheting and making Afghans. She loved yard work, cats and lighthouses. Survivors include three sons, Lloyd Treadway of Defiance, Ohio, Lawrence (Bobbie) Treadway of Vaughnsville, Ohio, Johnny (Bev) Treadway of Lima, Ohio; and two daughters, Margaret (Larry) Luke of Estero, Florida, and Barbara (George) Theobald of Wapakoneta, Ohio; 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers; three sons, Billy Treadway, Eldon Treadway and George Treadway; an infant daughter, Lorena Mae "Sissy" Treadway; a grandson, Ronnie Treadway; a granddaughter, Debbie Widner; and a daughter-in-law, Ellen Treadway. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Daniel H. Messner will officiate. Following services the body will be cremated, per her wishes.
