Glenn Everett Bresler

80, died at 12:53 AM on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Glenn was born on July 9, 1937, in Allentown, Ohio, to the late Albert Lawrence Bresler  and Isla Pearl (Redman) Bresler.   He married Betty Marie (Cady)Mumper-Bresler, who survives in Lima.

He retired from Ford Motor Company after working there for 30 years.  He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #370-Lima, Ohio and the Moose Lodge.

Mr. Glenn one of the kindest most giving caring hearts to ever be hidden within the stubborn mule of a man that we all loved dearly. He loved many things in life from pool to dancing and softball to cribbage. He served our country in the Air Force then National Guards. Most of all he loved his family, he knew the joys of children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren late in life, but knew them well. Join us in remembering his shining smile and laugh that could melt glaciers.

He is survived by a Step-daughter Jodie (Stephen) Johnson, Step-son Keith (Amy) Mumper; 2 granddaughters; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Lorraine Bresler.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Bresler, two sisters, Norma Jean Boedicker and Peggy Lou Brooks, and a brother, James Wendell Bresler.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018  at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Memorial Service in will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Chamberlain- Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Wayne Waltz will officiate.

Interment of ashes will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
