Glenn E. Rolsten, 58, died at 12:33 a.m. May 10, 2010, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born January 28, 1952, in Lima, Ohio to Paul E. and Rhea Foster Rolsten. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives. On May 8, 2000, he married Margaret Dove, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Rolsten worked in construction at Moore?s Construction Co. and had worked at Nickles Bakery for 12 years. He was attending University of Northwestern Ohio where he was in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning program. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, singing, cooking and helping people. He was a very hard worker. He loved being outdoors and camping. He like science fiction and watched the Syfy Channel. Survivors also include a son, Stosh Rolsten, of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Amanda Rolsten and Christina Rolsten, both of Lima, Ohio; a stepson, Michael Jacobs, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tyeler Luke, Jalyn Rolsten and Kayden Rolsten; a step grandchild, Teala Jacobs; two brothers, David (Nancy) Rolsten, of Shelby, Ohio, and Tom (Barb) Rolsten, of Ruskin, Florida; a sister, Lisa Kreitzer, of Lima, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Campbell. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Dove will officiate.
