Grace Bissey

Grace Bissey,102, died at 7:14 a.m. June 14, 2009, at Baton Rouge Senior Health Services Community. She was born February 26, 1907, in Toledo, Ohio to Clement Myers and Arminta Obenour Dunham, who preceded her in death. On September 9, 1926, she married William Bissey, who died June 3, 1950. Mrs. Bissey enjoyed baking bread and caring for family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time and sharing with others. Survivors include a daughter, Rhea M. Rowlette, of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren, Lynda Mullins, of Lexington, Kentucky, Gerri Rowlette, of Lima, Ohio, and Mike Roeder and Terry (Stephanie) Roeder, both of Springboro, Ohio; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a son-in-law, David Roeder, of Springboro, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, L. Irene Roeder; a sister, Maud L. Dunham; and two grandchildren, Susan Ore and Terry Rowlette. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Brother Mike Skinner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
