Grace Bowen O'Connerll

Grace L. Bowen O?Connell, 84, died at 12:25 p.m. March 22, 2008, at Wapak Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 24, 1923, in Allen County to Peter M. and Effie Leona Conaway Bowen, who preceded her in death. Mrs. O?Connell was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary, Lima, American Legion Post 96, Lima, and Orioles Nest 173, Lima. She had worked as an inspector at Ex-Cell-O for 23 years. Survivors include a son, Terry L. O?Connell, of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren, Shane (Amy) O?Connell, Shannon (Justin) O?Connell-Jackson, of Lima, Ohio, T.J. O?Connell, of Alger, Ohio, and Heath O?Connell, of Lima, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Morris Bowen, Charles Bowen and Lewis Bowen; three sisters, Irene Finn, Gertrude Sandy and Cleo Blanton; and two half sisters, Violet Bryan and Louella Kohls. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Burial will be in Vaughnsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
