Gregory Rhoad

Gregory Lynn ?D.J.? Rhoad, 52, died at 4:30 p.m. June 8, 2010, from injuries suffered in an auto accident on Buckland Holden Road, near Cridersville. He was born April 21, 1958, in Paulding County, Ohio to Lawrence Virgil and Barbara Jean Lytle Rhoad, who survive in Lima. On February 27, 1982, he married Tamera Davis, who survives. Mr. Rhoad worked at INOES. He was a member of Lima Baptist Temple. He was a 1976 graduate of Allen East High School, where he played basketball, and attended OSU-Lima, where he also played basketball. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199. Survivors also include a brother, Terry Lee ?Dusty? (Sue) Rhoad, of Sarasota, Florida; and five children, Kyle Lynn Rhoad, of Ada, Ohio, Jonathon Douglas (Dawn Sherwood) Rhoad, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Carla Sue Rhoad, Andrew Lawrence Rhoad and Amanda Lynn Rhoad, all of Elida, Ohio. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster, Ohio.
