Harold Dorsett

HAROLD N. DORSETT, 73, died at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15, 2006, at his residence. He was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Indianapolis to Fred Carl and Vivian Margaret Cairnes Dorsett, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 6, 1960, he married Shirley Spicer, who survives in Lima. Mr. Dorsett retired as a brick mason. He attended Lima Pilgrim Holiness Church. Survivors also include a daughter, Cindy Hunter of Lima; three sons, Harold Dorsett II of Lima, Robert Dorsett of Ohio City and Richard (Carol) Dorsett of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren; and eight siblings, Raymond Dorsett of Indiana, Catherine Rowlan of Tennessee, Donald Dorsett of Texas, Arnold Dorsett of Oklahoma, Phyllis Finecy and Kay McInteer, both of Indiana, and Charlotte Barnhart and Christine Gelo, both of Ohio. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Mary Thompson, Allen, Edward and Robert Dorsett, Frieda Watson and Judy Patterson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Nichols will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Pilgrim Holiness Church.
