Haynes Francis "Andy" Anderson,
66, of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 4:09 P. M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Thursday, May 9, 1946, in Teaneck, N.J., he was the son of the late Thomas Anderson and the late Corine O'Brien Anderson.
Mr. Anderson retired from the Boca Raton Florida Fire Department. He dabbled in entrepreneurship, was a police officer in Washington,DC, and had served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 96-Lima and served as their chaplain; a member of the Elks BPOE of Boca Raton, Florida and Lima Elks Lodge #54. He was a loyal fan of the Washington Redskins, a lover of music, a performing drummer, and a collector of cowboy hats.
Surviving are: his companion, Cecil (Wright) McDonald; two sons, Keith Anderson of Boca Raton, FL and Craig (Tania Thurston) Anderson of Asheville, NC; two grandchildren, Isabella Anderson and Alexander Anderson; two brothers, Mark (Ruth) Anderson of Delray Beach, FL and Dennis Anderson of Sabastian, FL; two sisters, Ellen Johnston of Oxford, NC and Venna (Richard) Spencer of Middletown, Connecticut
A private entombment service will be held in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
