87 of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 7:06 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Friday, June 27, 1924 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Lyons and the late Goldie Truesdale Lyons. .
Helen married Loren Fruchey on July 31, 1958 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2008. She had worked for many years at Steiner's Drug Store and eventually retired from Westinghouse. She was a member of the VFW Post #1275.
Surviving are: a daughter-in-law Patricia Burr, a grandson Bruce (Lori) Burr of Springfield, Ohio, a sister, Lucille Carter of Lima, OH. and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by son, David Burr.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Tisch officiating.
Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
