Helen Louise Gross
88, died at 1:20 AM on Friday, December 27, 2013, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.
Helen was born on January 31, 1925, in Allen County, Ohio, to the late Albert May and Inez Viola (Geise) May.
In 1942 Helen married Charles E. Gross. He preceded in death in 1985. Mrs. Gross was a homemaker. She, and her son Mark, had a Kennel License and raised and sold Poodles. She was an avid fisherman with her family in Ohio, Michigan, and Canada. She was also an antique collector and picker.
She is survived by: sons Larry L. (Tricia) Gross, of Lima, OH, Roger Gross, of Toledo, OH, and Mark Gross, of Elida, OH; a granddaughter Julia Gross, of Jacksonville, FL, a grandson Michael (Ashley) Gross, of Elida, OH, and a granddaughter Robin Gross, of Atlanta, GA; two great grandsons Joshua Gross, and Christopher Lyle, a great granddaughter, Autum Gross; and a great great granddaughter Charity Gross; many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by: several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 29. 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate.
Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, Ohio will be at a later date.
