Helen Elizabeth Jackson, 92 of Lima, Ohio died at 5:25 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Baton Rouge Senior Health Facility..
Born Wednesday, March 3, 1920 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Coffman and the late Emma (Lewis) Coffman..
Helen married Paul W. Jackson on October 9, 1948 in Covington, KY, he preceded her in death on August 17, 1985. She had worked at Excello and as a waitress at several area restaurants. She was co-owner of Jackson's Trenching and Stump Removal and Jackson's Gun shop; and Jackson's Poultry. She was an avid deer hunter
Surviving are son, Harry (Martha) Hartzog of Elida, also a daughter-in-law June Hartzog of Lima, five grandchildren; Kerry Hartzog, Kenneth (Marti) Hartzog, Terry (Roseann) Hartzog, Alan (Lori) Hartzog, Kim (Brian) Hollar and twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-children,sister-in-law Darlene Coffman of Lima and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry L. Hartzog, also three brothers, Virgil Coffman, Robert Coffman and James Coffman and a grandson Kevin Hartzog.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 20 at 10:00 A.M. Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Rev. Ed Rhinehart officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
