98, died at 4:20 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Liberty Retirement Of, Lima, Ohio.
Helen was born on September 10, 1918, in Wisconsin, to the late Peter Werling and Mary (Pangratz) Werling.
Helen was self employed as a housekeeper and care giver. She loved playing cards, especially with her grandkids, loved baseball, and watching the Cleveland Indians. Helen crocheted all her life, she loved making things to give to family members and to donate to the elderly day care.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon ("Bob") Rogge, two grandchildren, James Wicker, and Mike (Amanda) Hoskins, six great grandchildren, Camden, Amelia, Karlie, Kaitlyn, Reese, and Ethan; three nephews, Tom Hussey, John Hussey, Steve Hussey, and families.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Hussey, brother-in-law, Cyril Hussey and nephew James Hussey.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 and at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev David Harris will officiate.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
