Helen M. McBride

Helen M. McBride, 85, of Lima, passed away at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Otterbein Cridersville Assisted Living.

She was born November 4, 1928, in Port Clinton, OH to the late Stephen and Veronica Krafcik. She married Charles McBride, Sr. who preceded her in death.

Helen graduated the twelfth grade in Port Clinton. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She loved to travel with her husband and friends.

She is survived by a son, Charles (Susan) McBride, Jr. of Twinsburg, OH; two daughters Jean (Cole) Evans of Lake Wales, FL and Sue (Ron Young) McBride of Millfield, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles McBride, Sr. and one sister Mary Klingbiel.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 and on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 for one hour prior to the service at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, 920 N. Cable Road, Lima, OH, with Rev. David Harris officiating.

Interment will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, OH.
