HELEN E. MICHAEL, 90, of Cincinnati, formerly of Lima, Ohio, died at 5:30 a.m. July 11, 2006, at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash. She was born October 24, 1915, in Salem Township to Albert and Maude Anna Miller Rohrbach, who preceded her in death. On November 26, 1942, in Denver, Ohio, she married Ray Michael, who died January 17, 2003. Mrs. Michael had been an office administrator for Bloom & Co. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had been a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church for several years. She had been a member of the American Women's Business Association. She was active in the Association of Retarded Citizens, with Marimor School and with workshop committees. She served on the advisory board for the Allen County Campaign for Residential Living. Survivors include a son, Kevin Michael of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tyler Michael, Casey Michael and Matthew Michael; a brother, Joseph Rohrbach of Celina, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Clara Beery of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynda Ann Michael, who died November 17, 1999; two brothers, Lyle and Norman Rohrbach; and two sisters, June Wilson and Melba Schwartz. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Chalk will officiate. Burial will be in Cairo East Cemetery, Cairo, Ohio.
