Helen E. Rohrer,
95, of Columbus Grove, Ohio died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, 2:15 P.M. at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.

Born June 5, 1917 in Putnam County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Bogart and the late Nellie (McDowel) Bogart. Helen was the seventh of nine children, all of which preceded her in death.

Mrs. Rohrer had been a homemaker and an avid bowler for many years at Moreo, 20th Century and Northland. She won many bowling awards in the 70's and 80's. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, growing beautiful flower gardens, watching the Cincinnati Reds and the company of her beloved poodles. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with all her family.
Mrs. Rohrer retired from Lima Memorial Health System in 1982 after working 24 years in Central Supply. She was a registered beautician and had worked in several beauty shops in Lima, along with North Star Woolen Mills, Nickles Bakery and Albers.

Surviving are: a daughter, Sue (Richard) Williams of rural Rimer, OH; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Annette) Williams of Napoleon, OH, and James (Elizabeth) Williams of Haskins, OH and a granddaughter Jo Anne (Mark Drotleff) Williams of Dublin, OH; six great grandchildren, Abigail and Allison Williams of Napoleon, OH, Joshua and Sara Williams of Haskins and Raena and Samuel Drotleff of Dublin, O; a sister-in-law, Anna Bogart of Florida.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordan Bogart and Robert Bogart; six sisters, Mary Hanley, Ruth Slusser, Edith Williams, Margaret Tudor, Dorothy Garberson and Betty Turner..

Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M.

The Rev. Dottie Kaiser will officiate.

Interment of the ashes will be in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer, Ohio.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the activity fund at Springview Manor.
