Helen Taylor

Helen Lucille Taylor, 90, died at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 20, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Lima to Patrick H. and Lena Mary Alberding Mooney, who preceded her in death. She married Charles Peter Taylor, who died Sept. 8, 1993. Mrs. Taylor had been a wrapper at a cigar factory. She helped her mother raise four of her nieces, Nancy, JoAnn, Cathy and Helen. Survivors include a sisterin-law, Matilda (Leroy) Taylor; several nieces and nephews, including Nancy Rudy Newland and JoAnn Rudy Klausing, both of Lima, Cathy Rudy Thomas, of Wapakoneta, and Helen Rudy Montgomery, of Lima. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Father David Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
