Helen J. Warner, 82, died at 5:03 p.m. October 15, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born September 4, 1926, in Beaverdam, Ohio to Alvin and Kathryn Cook Lamb, who preceded her in death. On June 14, 1947, she married Earl J. Warner, who died February 9, 2008. Mrs. Warner had worked at Triplett Corp., Bluffton, Ohio, for more than 20 years, and worked for the DeHaven family for several years. She attended Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. She was a 1944 graduate of Beaverdam High School. Survivors include a son, Richard (Joy) Warner, of Bluffton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Heath (Ann) Warner, Vanessa Warner, Cameron Warner and Grant Warner; three great-grandchildren, Deacon Warner, Haydin Warner and Doran Warner; three sisters, Shirley (Bill) Haller, of Lima, Ohio, Mary (John) Stahl, of Bluffton, Ohio, and Sharon Lamb (Al) Longanbach, of Lima, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Beth Lamb, of Bluffton, Ohio; and special friends, Tom and JoAnn De-Haven, and their children, John, David, Tom, Patrick and Holly DeHaven. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lamb and Norman Lamb; and a sister, Doris Bronson. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Brandon Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
