Helena "Helen" Elizabeth Reiff,
89 of Lima, Ohio, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 1:50 A.M. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Monday, April 30, 1923 in Fryburg, Auglaize Co., Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Roth and the late Mary Reier Roth.
She married William "Fred" Reiff on November 22, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2002. She retired from Westinghouse; previously she had worked at The Leader Store and DWG Cigar Co. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Eagles Aux. She loved her family, playing cards and Bingo with her many friends.
Surviving are: two sons, Dan (Judy) Reiff of Elida, and Greg (Denise) Reiff of Waynesfield; three grandchildren, Richard (Pam) Reiff, Jeff (Shelly) Reiff, and Johnathan Reiff; five great grandchildren, Kristy (Ryan) Snoek, Travis (Kati) Reiff, Ashley (Derick) Edwards, Lindsey Reiff, Domonick Reiff and one great great grandchild, Colin Richard Snoek.
She was predeceased by brothers, Edwin, Bernard, Ferd , William , Carl and Timothy Roth; sisters, Marie Arnett, Rita Steineke and Lenora Hunt.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, followed by a Parish Wake service at 8P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10A.M. at St. Rose Catholic Church with Father David Ross officiating.
