I. Shulaw

I. DONALD "DON" SHULAW, 75, died at 2:35 p.m. March 8, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born November 16, 1929, in Allen County, Ohio to Gerald and Leila Shutt Shulaw, who preceded him in death. He married Gloria Jean Miller, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Shulaw retired from Nickels Bakery, after 35 years, and had worked for Dean Griffins Furniture Store. He was a member of Teamsters Local 365, Toledo, Ohio. He was an Army veteran, serving from February 2, 1951, to January 8, 1953. Survivors also include a daughter, Nancy Ann Shulaw of Lima. Ohio; and two sisters, Helen Stringfield of Hope Sound, Florida, and Evelyn (Floyd) Monfort of Lima, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Gene Shulaw; and a brother, James Shulaw. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
