Ida Hicks

Ida Hicks 83, died at 11:59 a.m. July 7, 2009, at her residence. She was born April 6, 1926, in Cridersville, Ohio to Leroy ?Gil? Stemen and Gladys Roby Stemen-Binkley, who preceded her in death. She married Richard Hicks, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker, who loved watching soap operas. Survivors also include four children, Lonnie (Grace) Hicks and Dianna Lucke, both of Lima, Ohio, Deb (Rolly) Weber, of Elida, Ohio, and Richard Scott (Tammy) Hicks, of Lima, Ohio; two grandsons, Todd Sterling and Christopher Hicks; her special friend, Leola Kearney; and her special companion, Cinder. Services will begin at noon Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Douglas Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.
