Idella Schlesselman

Idella Grace Schlesselman,

71, died at 7:01 PM on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.

Idella Grace was born on September 23, 1946, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Wilbur Harry Bradford and Mary Elizabeth (Conner) Bradford.  On Thursday, February 28, 1963, she married Lonny James Schlesselman, who preceded her in death, on January 24, 2006.

She had worked at Superior Metals for 39 plus years. Her kids were everything to her. She worked very hard to support her kids and to make sure they were always protected and taken care of.

She is survived by six children, Starla S. Schlesselman, Lonny W. Schlesselman,  Londa  Roberts, Mark A. Schlesselman, Patsy J. (Tom) Schlesselman-Gaugh,  James (Angie) Schlesselman; eleven grandchildren, Shawn, Jason, Kayla, Erica, Josh, Kelly, Charlie, Sam, Jacob, Ryan, Jase and many great grandchildren; five siblings, Chuck Wilbur, Maryann, Millie, and John.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Darla L. Wellman Schlesselman, a grandson, Harold A. "Drew" Johnson and several brothers & sisters.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.  Pastor Tim Benjamin will officiate.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
