Iona A. (Staley) Fisher,

95, died at 11:03 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima.

Iona was born on Sunday, September 10, 1922, to the late George W. and Edith (Ackerman) Staley.  On Friday, October 23, 1942, she married Richard J. Fisher; he preceded her in death April 9, 2008.

Iona was a member of Lafayette Chapter Eastern Star for over 50 years and a long time member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Noel) Morrison of Johnstown, sons, Edwin L. (Emily) Fisher of Bellbrook and Dwaine (Marla) Fisher of Clarksville; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, six brothers and five sisters.

A graveside service will begin at 11:30 AM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima, Ohio.
