Irene M. Miller, 91 of Elida, Ohio died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio in Lima, Ohio.
Born Thursday, March 4, 1920 in Spencerville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Wilkin and the late Nellie Bice Wilkin. She was the wife of the late Carl Miller.
She married Carl H. Miller on July 25, 1941 in Lima, Ohio; he preceded her in death on June 14, 2007. She was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church. She was an active member of Bowling Leagues in the Lima area. Was an active golfer at Tamarac Golf Course in their Leagues, and liked to sew.
Surviving are daughters, Lynette K. (Lyle) Lewis of Elida, OH and Lisa Walder of Lima, OH. four grandchildren, Chandra Lewis, Justin (Anna) Lewis, Jennifer Walder, Aric (Tammy) Allen all of Lima, Ohio, six great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Natalie Wilkin and Earlene Davis.
She was predeceased by one brother and three sisters.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Samuel Payne officiating. Interment will be in Spencerville Cemetery, Spencerville, OH.
