Jack Risner

JACK DIXON RISNER, 62, died at 9:05 a.m. June 24, 2005, at his residence from complications related to Marfan syndrome. He was born Sept. 6, 1942, in Kenton, to Roy Clayton and Irene Pinks Risner. His mother survives in Spencerville. On Sept. 4, 1971, he married Diann Marie Keller, who survives. By God's grace, they were married 34 years. Mr. Risner was employed by Allen County Lumber Co. and Hefner Dairy. He attended Calvary Bible Church. He attended Ada High School and served a brief tour with the Army, from Nov. 23 to Dec. 21, 1963. He professed salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ, having asked Christ to come into his heart and forgive him of his sins, as outlined in the Scriptures. Survivors also include three daughters, Anne Risner of Findlay, Jennifer (Jerry) Fickel, of Connersville, Ind., and Suzanne (Kevin) Kelly of Lima; two sisters, Barbara (Norman) Sink of Sun City, Ariz., and Charlotte (Jeff) Fleck of Spencerville; seven grandchildren, Elisabeth, Simon, Luke, Ian, Victoria, Eliese and Taressa; and four nephews and nieces. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Bible Church. Pastor Keith Hamblen and Pastor Jerry Fickel will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
