Jack Wierman

Jack L. Wierman, , 72, died at 6:44 p.m. April 24, 2009, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born January 27, 1937, in Marion, Ohio to Pearl Wierman, who preceded him in death. On September 11, 1981, he married Linda Market, who survives in Lima, Ohio.

Mr. Wierman was retired from Monsanto. He served in the Navy from October 25, 1956, to October 24, 1962. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and enjoyed playing cards.

Survivors also include seven children, Melissa (Mike) Stimmel, of Lima, Ohio, Christine (Shawn) Poovala, of Austin, Texas, Troy (Kristy) Boedicker, of Swan- sea, S.Carolina, Shane (Penny) Boedicker, of Indian Lake, Ohio, Cherise McCartney, of Florida, Scott Wierman, of Florida, and Cara Wierman; nine grandchildren, Mandi, Allie, Trevor, Tony, Devin, Jayden, Whitney, Gabrielle and Preston; and a great-grandson, Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morbitt.
