Jacqueline Joyce "Jackie" Ehresman, 65, died at 2:40 a.m. July 28, 2008, at Wyngate Senior Living Community. She was born November 21, 1942, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Frank and Mary Wyhowanec Black, who preceded her in death. On June 12, 1965, she married James Lee "Jim" Ehresman, who died January 23, 2008. They had been married for more than 42 years. Mrs. Ehresman was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Lima Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni Association and was involved in area breast cancer support groups. She was very supportive and understanding of her husband in his many years at Bath Local Schools. Survivors include two sons, Timothy John (Lisa) Ehresman, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Matthew James Ehresman, of Wadsworth; a daughter, Mary Jo (Michael) Marcheschi, of Lovettsville, Virginia; five grandchildren, Zachary Ehresman, Tyler Ehresman, Ryan Ehresman, Elizabeth Marcheschi and Joseph Marcheschi; three siblings, Sandy (David) Niles, of Chapin, S.Carolina, Frank (Sandy) Black, of San Antonio, Texas, and Christine Black, of Lima, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Marian (Marvin) March, of Defiance, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Josephine Ehresman, of Elida, Ohio; an aunt, Anne Roth, of St. Clairsville; and several nieces and nephews. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Michael A. Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jim & Jackie Ehresman Scholarship Fund at Bath Local Schools. The family would like to thank the staff at Wyngate Senior Living Center for their extraordinary love and care for their mother.
