James A. "Jim" Blue,
73 of Harrod, Ohio died on Sunday, April 22, 2012, at7:00 A.M. at his residence in Harrod, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, April 5, 1939 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Blue and the late Lillian Brennaman Blue.
He was a machine maintenance repairman for General Dynamics. Jim was a very giving person, and enjoyed friends and family. He loved working and enjoyed music. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army and with his employment at General Dynamics.
Surviving are: a son, Adam Blue; five daughters, Stephanie Rumph, Taja Neal, Sandy Cross of Lima, OH, Lisa Fox and Krystal Blue; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two brothers, and two, sisters;
He was predeceased by son, James A. Blue, Jr.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Emerson officiating.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, OH. Military service conducted by VFW Post 1275 at the gravesite.
