James J. Bozick 83, died at 10:20 a.m. September 24, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born August 23, 1926, in Adena, Ohio to John and Anne (Frankavich) Bozick, who preceded him in death. On June 17, 1950, he married Dorothy Soukup, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Bozick was a Navy veteran. He retired from Randall Bearings. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 371; Foreign Wars Post 1275. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. He enjoyed polka dancing, golfing and bowling. He was an avid Cleveland and The Ohio State University sports fan. Survivors also include three daughters, Nancy (Dan) Dugan, of Lima, Ohio, Janet (Tom) Willoughby, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Betty (Curt) Smith, of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren, Chris Dugan, Pat Dugan, Matt Dugan, Kelly Dugan, Kyle Smith and Dru Smith; and a great-grandchild, Caleb Dugan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank (Ann) Bozick and John Bozick; three sisters, Rose (Dan) Bartok, Ann (Ralph) DiNapoli and Mary Bozick. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. The Rev. Joy Poonoly will officiate. Interment will be in the Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum.
