James "Jim" Brentlinger

Born Monday, September 25, 1944 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Phillip Brentlinger and the late Kathryn Nichols Brentlinger. He was the husband of Carol McClellan Brentlinger who survives in Lima.

Mr. Brentlinger was a member of the Orioles #173, Lima, Ohio. He was a former member of the Sons of the American Legion and the Eagles Aerie #370, Lima, Ohio. He was an avid fan of the 49'ers, the L.A. Dodgers and Michigan. He worked as a Warehouse/Delivery person at Terminal Service, H. Bloom & Company, K-Mart and Buckeye Furniture. He enjoyed playing pool, cards, watching Westerns and spending time with his grandsons.

Surviving is a daughter, Christina Hageman and two grandchildren, Jacob and Christian Hageman all of Lima. Also surviving is a Brother-in-Law Tom McClellan of Lima.

He was predeceased by son, William James Brentlinger.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Stephens officiating. Interment will be in Cremains will be intered at a later date.
