JAMES. G. BRIM, 74, died at 4:49 p.m. Octtober 5, 2006, at his residence. He was born December 23, 1931, in Findlay, Ohio to Walter George and Alberta Allen Brim, who preceded him in death. On September 10, 1955, he married Luella Mae Reinhart Brim in Findlay, who preceded him in death on April 9, 2006. Mr. Brim enjoyed attending coin, guns and other sales. He was an avid poker player, avid basketball and football player and hunter in his younger days. He was a member of the United Auto Workers union Local 1219. he retired from Ford after 30 years. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Lou (Steve) Jones of Lima, Ohio, Kathy (Norm) Brim of Lima, Ohio, Linda Brim of Ashfork, Arizona, and Patty (Tim) Neuenschwander of Findlay, Ohio; six grandchildren, Eric Jones, Nathan Jones, Justin Jones, Danielle (Paul) Bowman, Corey (Nicole Scott) Neuenschwander, and Lorie (Brent) Kiene; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Roger (Carol) Brim of Rawson, Walt Brim of Colfax, Calif., Don Brim of Findlay, Ohio, and Merlin (Janice) Brim of Findlay, Ohio; and three sisters, Carol Herald of Defiance, Ohio, Elaine Woodard of Findlay, and Bonnie (Bob) Stahl of Findlay, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a son, David Brim; and five brothers, Ted Brim, Jack Brim, Al Brim, Jerry Brim, and Bobby Brim. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Downey will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
