James B. "Jim" Cotter

James B. "Jim" Cotter, 55, of Lima, passed away the evening of February 23, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on September 5, 1958 in Lima, Ohio to Joe and Angelina (Sanfilippo-Leist) Cotter, who both preceded him in death.
Jim was a 1977 graduate of Elida Senior High School and had been a salesman at Kern's Fireplace and Spa for the past 12 years. He enjoyed boating and riding motorcycles.
Surviving are his two children Samantha and Cole Cotter, both of Lima; his step children Jennifer and Adam Reid, both of Lima; a brother Steven Cotter of Fremont, IN; six grandchildren; a nephew Matthew (Jessica) Cotter of Chicago, IL and a niece Chelsea (Christopher Gaghan) Cotter of Bryan, OH.
Public visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 10 AM -12:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service at 12 noon, at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Tisch will officiate.
