James Thomas Fry,
64, died at 9:05 AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, after a sudden illness.
James was born on Friday, June 15, 1951, in Lima, Ohio, to the late James R. and Ruth (Brennan) Fry, who survives. In February 1995, he married Valerie Miller who also survives in Lima.
James was a 1969 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and attended Ohio State University, Lima Campus. He had worked at Westinghouse / Sunstrand for 25 years and was employed at Procter and Gamble since 1998. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. James had a love for music, football, especially the Cleveland Browns and watching his sons and granddaughter play soccer.
He is survived by: two daughters, Crystal (Brock) Drexler, Wapakoneta and Amber Fry; two sons, Colton Fry and Caden Fry all of Lima; three grandchildren, Chloe Richardson, Addison George, Abel McDonald; and a sister, Sarah (James) Gerleman, Lima.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 01, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. Father Stephen Blum will officiate. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Senior High Athletic Department for their soccer team.
