66 of Lima, Ohio died on Monday, April 9, 2012, 7:47 P.M. at Lima Memorial Health Systems of Lima Ohio
James was born to Emma "Punk" Kinkle on January 8, 1946 in Lima, Ohio, she preceded him in death.
He married Deanna Gibson in 1982, she survives in Lima. He worked at Lombardo's for many years. He also worked at the Allen County Museum. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Louie's and The Firehouse. Everyone who knew him will miss his kindness and humor.
Surviving are daughter, Emma (Camerino Gonzalez)Hardesty of Lima, OH, sons, Benjamin Hardesty of Lima, OH, Glen Welch of Columbus, OH and James Lewis of Ft. Wayne, IN, several step children; six grandchildren, Mya, Jacob, Trenton, Dylan Michael, Daniel; several step grandchildren; brother Jeff (Charity) Kinkle, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Naomi Gieger.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,
