James L. Keller, 70, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on August 28, 2021. He was born on April 12, 1951 in Lima to the late Leslie W. and Betty {Kelchner} Keller.
Jim graduated from Ada High School in 1970 and had been married to Mary Blosser-Keller. He had worked for the Ada Police Department for 10 years and then worked for Proctor and Gamble for 21 years. While at Proctor and Gamble, he volunteered at Marimor Industries. He had also worked for Clymer Medical Transport for a couple years following his time at Proctor and Gamble. He was very gifted in woodworking and loved to travel, boating and camping on Lake Erie, and going to the beach. He also was an avid bicyclist and loved his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his sister: Becky (Craig) Bollinger, brother: Elwood Keller, step-daughter: Shannon (Marc) Finn, and grandsons: Keegan and Kaidin Finn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Albert and David Keller.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, where a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Randy Coleman will officiate. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the family asks all in attendance wear masks.
