James L. Mack 74, died at 2:21 p.m. April 4, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1934, in Lima, Ohio to Forrest L. and Wilma R. Leach Mack, who preceded him in death. On June 2, 1972, he married Jacqueline Miller, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Mack retired from Nickles Bakery. He was a member of South Side Christian Church. He graduated from Lima South High School in 1952. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, Lima. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He liked gardening and flowers and golfing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his dogs, Conad and Sparco. Survivors include four sons, Jeffrey (Patricia) Mack, of Lima, Ohio, James (Jean) Mack, of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Hardin, of Troy, Ohio, and Chad Hale, of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Cheryl (Adrian) Williams, of Columbus, Ohio, and Kelli Hale, of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and an ex-wife, Shirley J. Heffner Wills. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Jo Mack; and a brother, Forrest ?Ed? Mack. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Douglas Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Bluelick Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
