James "Jim" L. Robey,
63, of Lima, Ohio, while surrounded by his loving family, entered into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 12:09 a.m. at his residence in Lima, Ohio.
Born April 9, 1949 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Delbert J. Robey and Margie M. (Alger) Robey, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Robey retired from the Sunoco-Mid Valley Pipeline as an Electrician. He married Sharon D. Ogle in October of 1971, who survives in Lima. He was a member of the Lima Eagles Aerie #370. He loved gardening, John Deere antique tractors and fishing. His granddaughters were the light of his life.
Survivors include: a son, James Erik (Paula Miller) Robey of Lima, OH; a daughter, Bethany (Matthew) Leiendecker of Lima, OH; four grandchildren, Hailey Robey, Ella Robey, Morgan Leiendecker, and Madilyn Leiendecker; two brothers, Ronald (Lynn) Robey of Lima, OH and Dale (Margie A.) Robey of Lima, OH; two sisters, Deborah (Rodney) Lamb of Columbus Grove, OH and Julie Dunn of Lima, OH; a father-in-law, Robert Ogle of Lima, OH; several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Mr. David Brown officiating.
