Jane Bridges

Jane A. Bridges, 89, died at 6:20 p.m. October 4, 2008, at Lima Convalescent Home, Lima, Ohio. She was born February 12, 1919, in Lima, Ohio to William and Eda Myers Dielman, who preceded her in death. On February 9, 1941, she married Clarence Bridges, who died July 17, 1983. Mrs. Bridges was a lifetime member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and a member of the Rebecca Circle of the church. She was retired from Airfoil/Textron as an inspector. Survivors include a son Don (Carolyn) Bridges, of Elida, Ohio; a daughter Dolores (Bridges) Ernest, of Lima, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jeff Bridges, Brian Bridges and Kelly Shaw; and six great-grandchildren, Josh, Cody, Brandon, Cole, Logan and Beau. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Victor Dielman, Louis Dielman and Paul Dielman; and two sisters Ruth Ridenour and Calla Miller. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Marks United Methodist Church, Lima, Ohio. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
