Jane Ann Fiedler

Jane Ann Fiedler, 86, passed away at 10:02 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at her home in Lima. In 1972 she arranged to donate her body upon death to Wayne State Medical School in Detroit, Michigan for medical research. 

Jane was born on October 20, 1937, in Ionia, Michigan, and in 1944 was adopted in Pontiac, Michigan. She has been a resident of Lima, Ohio since 1984.

Jane obtained her education from various colleges and universities within the Michigan area. She loved people and loved learning something on every subject she might encounter. Her interests were in music, poetry, philosophy, painting, writing, law, and especially in helping children. Jane was gifted with a great talent for playing piano and was known by many around town for her skill. 

Jane had a best friend that was always there for her since she was seven years old. He was always by her side, and she could always depend on His promises, help and encouragement. His name was Jesus. She loved Him dearly. 

Jane is survived by her daughter, Lora Jane Williams of Lima, OH; three grandchildren: Tiffany M. Williams, Larissa J. Williams, and Kenneth A. Williams Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kenneth A. Williams III and Kinsley Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, son-in-law, Kenneth Allen Williams Sr., and brother, Gene Moore.

There will be no public services. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church or Lima Baptist Temple.
